Bitcoiners from around the world recently met with Madeira's President to discuss the possibility of developing a Bitcoin strategy for the autonomous region. The group met with the President, the Finance Minister, and Energy Ministry representatives to discuss the benefits that Bitcoin could bring to Madeira's economy. They also interacted with locals to better understand their perspectives on bitcoin and the opportunities it could bring.
